An intimate and quiet atmosphere welcomes guests here at Casa Faustina along with perfectly sized spaces reserved for groups. There are countless ways that allow guests here to experience peace and rest and the contact with the earth, the trees and the breath of the hills are simply a few examples. We invite groups to use our space in order to learn and grow in any way they please. Casa Faustina offers simple hospitality with a smile and open heart, ensuring the freedom and privacy of all guests.
The Gazebo
Amongst the olive trees is the newly constructed, 108m2 gazebo, complete with a beautiful hardwood floor and roof that provides shade and space for groups. Also situated near the pines, guests utilizing the gazebo are treated to a stunning view of the surrounding area.
Open Spaces
In addition to the enclosed, reserved spaces for groups, Casa Faustina also offers flat, shaded, wide open spaces outside. Some examples are the lush grass around the swimming pool, the fresh pine area overlooking the breathtaking Umbrian valley, the barbecue area, and another fantastic area that can be used to make bonfires or for observing the magical night skies.
The Inside Room
The internal, multi-purpose room is 56 square meters and equipped with a smooth wooden floor to also provide space for meetings and various activities. The room is cool in the summer and warm in the winter creating a comfortable atmosphere all year round.
The Dining Room
The Dining room holds 60 people comfortably seated at tables and can also function as the perfect meeting place. When the weather is lovely, outdoor dining is available and during winter, the fireplace is always burning to create a warm, homey atmosphere. Groups are offered half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) of traditional and vegetarian menus catered to the personal needs and requests of guests. Beverages are also included with meals and snack or lunch packages can be prepared upon request.
The Lodging
Casa Faustina accomodates guests in 10 apartments for a total of 30 beds. Each apartment is fully equipped with cooking facilities, bathroom with shower, independent entrance from the garden, and its own outdoor dining table. Double or single rooms are available. The 2 one-room apartments hold two people each, the 4 two-room apartments hold three people each, and the 4 three-room apartments hold four people each. For larger groups, other lodging possibilities are located a mere 1km from Casa Faustina.
Conditions for Reservations
It is suggested that groups reserve far in advance to ensure availability. A 30% deposit with bank transfer or credit card is expected upon reservation.
Logistics
Casa Faustina is located 10km from the Sant'Egidio Airport in Perugia and is 10km away from the Assisi train station. There are no public transports that reach the agriturismo but a discounted taxi service is offered at 25-30€ one way and holds 6-8 people. Rome is 180km away and there are direct 2.5 hour train trips regularly scheduled from Roma Termini to Assisi. Casa Faustina organizes excursions, hikes or guided visits to Assisi and surrounding sites upon request.
