Welcome in Assisi
Casa Faustina, an agriturismo since 1988, is situated on a green hill in the heart of the Umbrian countryside at 500m above sea level and 7km from the charming town of Assisi. The holiday farm is surrounded by olive trees, pines, and fragrant lavander and rosemary bushes and is the perfect place to experience the green of nature, inner peace, and total relaxation in a family-like atmosphere. Two buildings house guests on the property. Casa Faustina is a typical Umbrian stone countryhouse dating from the 18th century and Casa Chiara is the other beautifully restored farmhouse located near the swimming pool. The many majestic trees that surround the two houses provide cool air and comforting shade during the hottest periods of the year.
Giordano and Tamara
The agriturismo is run by Giordano and Tamara, a young and energetic couple who live on the farm year round. Casa Faustina is their 'home sweet home' and they host guests with care and respect. Giordano and Tamara always pay attention to guests' needs and they are also able to suggest the best itineraries and services in the area. They speak English, German, French and Italian and can thus cater to guests from all over the world. Both adore life in the countryside and are often found observing the rhythms of nature, taking hikes through the surrounding wooded areas, and searching for wild mushrooms and asparagus. The dynamic couple practice yoga, photography, painting, and during the winter, take time to enjoy a cup of tea and a good book in front of the fire. Lola is a friendly and sweet dog that participates actively in the hospitality of Casa Faustina. She greets guests every morning and is always happy to accompany and guide them on walks. Lino, the Garfield-like cat of Casa Faustina, loves meeting guests in between his many naps and always welcomes a friendly caress.
The Apartments
Guests are accomodated in independent apartments with private entrances and garden areas. All are warm and comfortably furnished with a private bathroom and shower. The cooking facilities in each are fully equipped with a refrigerator and accessories. Casa Faustina offers accomodation in ten apartments for a total of thirty beds. There are 2 one-room apartments, 4 two-room apartments, and 4 three-room apartments. Double or single beds are provided in each apartment.
One-room apartment
Consists of one room with a double bed, fully equipped cooking facilities, bathroom with shower, independant entrance from garden and an outdoor dining table.
Two-room apartment
Consists of one bedroom, one living room with fully equipped cooking facilities, bathroom with shower, independant entrance from garden and an outdoor dining table.
Three-room apartment
Consists of two separate bedrooms, one living room with fully equipped cooking facilities, bathroom with shower, independant entrance from garden and an outdoor dining table.
